Hello Gratitude Observer! Get your journal/blank paper and a pen. Today’s Word of Power is Knowledge. Do you follow or lead? Do you live a life of self-truth and harmony?

What you know, may not necessarily be true. Your programming and belief systems were passed down to you from the person(s) who raised you because that is what they know and were taught to believe.
It is important to search for your own truth and what works to create your life of happiness, though not at the cost of anyone else’s. To become aware of your self-truth you must be willing to review how and why you think, feel, act and speak the way you do.
I once heard the following story: While at a friend’s for dinner, the invited guest asked why the top of the roast was sliced flat. Was it a new cooking technique? The hostess replied, “No, that’s how my mother always did it.” The next time they were together, the hostess ask her mom about this and, her mother replied, “I had to because our stove was small and the roast wouldn’t fit otherwise.”
Why do you do the things in your life the way you do?
Think about it.
What in your life would you like to change?
Pick one thing to start with and write it down now.
Do you do it the way you want to do it or just because that is the way you were taught—the way it has always been done?
Are you a follower or a leader?
What motivates you: happiness or fear?
The truth will set you free. In acknowledging what you know and living in self-truth, that is in harmony with your happiness, your life will be filled with love and joy!
