Hello Gratitude Explorer! It’s YOU TIME! Today’s Word of Power is Hobbies. What do YOU like to do—for yourself?

What do you like to do for yourself? Activities to enjoy are as numerous as the stars and, unique to every individual.
Devoting “ME TIME” in your busy schedule is key to your happiness. In order to be happy, healthy and able to give to others, you must first give to yourself. Hobbies are one important way to experience enjoyment while being present and creating for yourself.
In your journal or on your blank paper, write all the Hobbies you have participated in. Be sure to include athletic clubs, social organizations, collections you maintain, items you create.

When did you participate in these activities?
Why did you start? Why did you stop?
Why did you start? Why did you stop?
Which new Hobbies would you like to try?
What supplies or equipment do you need to try these today?
Pick one and do it! Sign up for lessons at your local community centre. Visit the local group chapter in your area. Ask for a free lesson to see if it’s something you’d like to pursue.
Make time for yourself. Learning different skills and meeting new people opens your mind to new possibilities. Be open to enjoying something you love. Do it for you! If it is an activity you can share with family and friends—great—BUT, be sure your motives for this is because YOU enjoy it!
Do not force it on others. When they see how much fun you are having, they’ll want to join you!

Hello #Gratitude #Gamer! Board, Card or Video — which games are your favs? Let's talk strategy...grab your journal or blank paper, a pen and a few minutes of your time...Today’s Word of Power is Games...Ready? Set. Play!

G is for Games — Games are a wonderful outlet for entertainment and social interaction. Board games, card games even video games allow for hours of fun in group settings.
When was the last time you enjoyed a family games night?
Or, an evening with friends for a fun game of cards?
With modern technology, we have begun to isolate ourselves and lose face-to-face interaction. Laughing, joking, strategizing, enjoying each other’s company are all wonderful ways to spend a few hours and stay in touch with friends and family.
In your journal or on your blank paper, list your favourite card, board and video games.
Which of these do you currently have in your possession?
With whom would you like to play them?
What day of the week could you plan to host a games night?
Could you make a small investment into a new board game, poker chips, jigsaw puzzle or a how-to book of card games—which would you buy?
The great thing about Games: they are affordable, reusable and the resulting fun is different each time they are used!
Invite family and friends to share some game time with you—you’ll be grateful you did!

F is for Family. I asked for the Archangels assistance, to provide guidance and amplify My Words of Power in their beautiful message to me…Check it out here.
Archangel Uriel: “There is no you and she. She (your Mami) is you and your are she. Why do you fight against her so? Can’t you see she is hurting too?”
What familial relationship would you like to heal? Reach out today, even if it’s just to say, “I love you”.

Hello Fellow Gratitude Weaver! With your pen & journal (or horizontal blank paper), take a few minutes to contemplate today’s Word of Power—Family. How do you relate?
Family are the people in your life to whom you are related by blood or marriage—the key word here is “relate”. How do you relate? Interact? Communicate? Love? Forgive your Family? These people are usually the closest to us however, sometimes those whom we treat both best and worst. It is said it takes a village to raise a child. This community starts with your Family. Today’s Family unit is unique but the key is to always nurture love and respect for each other.
When was the last time you told your mom, dad, son, daughter, sister or brother that you loved them? Do you have favourite cousins, friends or neighbours that you consider family? Have you thanked them lately for being part of your life?
Think of a particular familial relationship that you would like to heal or make better.
Who is this Family member? What do they mean to you?
What happened to strain the relationship?
What can you do to make it better today?
What is their phone number or email?
What are you going to say to them? Write it out in detail now.
In forgiveness there is freedom. Apologizing to yourself and letting go of past perceived mistakes allows you to be open and forgiving of others. Life is short. Do not waste precious moments of life in anger against others as you are only hurting yourself.
The greatest gift is to love yourself and, without expectation, to be loved in return.
